I'm using Android in version: 9
I'm running Cryptomator in version: 1.3.8
When attempting to connect to a WebDAV source, I get the message An error occurred with no other information.
The WebDAV source I'm trying to access is on a local computer. The address is http://10.0.1.1:1900/ and it is secured with a username and password. I am unchecking the Change to HTTPS checkbox.
I have verified that I can connect to this WebDAV source from other WebDAV clients.
This worked in previous versions of Cryptomator for Android.
I turned on Debug Mode and sent to the logs to myself. It seems like this error is the culprit.
java.net.UnknownServiceException: CLEARTEXT communication to 10.0.1.1 not permitted by network security policy
So, even though I've unchecked the Change to HTTPS checkbox, it still seems to block HTTP connections.
Thanks for your feedback!
Do you know if it worked in the 1.3.7 version?
Starting with Android 9 (API level 28), cleartext support is disabled by default.
Will be fixed with the 1.3.9
I can't confirm which version it worked in last, however, I'm sure I used the WebDAV connection successfully between April 15 and April 19, and I keep my apps up to date. So, whatever version was the latest then was working, IIRC.
I was not at home last week, so I didn't use the WebDAV connection during that time.
The fix is currently released to our beta testers in version 1.3.9-rc1. If you want to join: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.cryptomator
Thanks. I've confirmed it's working for me in 1.3.9-rc1.
