Disqus collects just a lot of data, yeah... However, just a simple embeddable page would useful, I think.

maybe like a javascript that anyone can copy and paste to enable it
so even if the original javascript is changed the local site version will never be changed

Done. I didn't checked that item yet because there are no true (not pseudo) decentralized ID/certificate provider. When I begin ZPass, it will use trusted nodes.

We don't need disqus on zeronet.

If it is exactly like Disqus for centralizing comments, that is not sustainable. But with all or the basic Disqus features, that is needed for a uniform commenting standard on ZeroNet, where all zites that uses it can contribute with it, helping themselves and also the other sites that uses it :wink:

Yes, as me and Imachug had already discussed on Discord. Instead of collecting/centralizing data, being an embeddable and also a aggregator of sites and easily embeddable. But the storage of the comments is up to each site itself.

Yes. Sites could have option to update the script or not. And they store the comments data.
