We're powerless to fix this but maybe we could ask the snap maintainers to consider it? We could do something like:

There's current work that's about to land that will enable snaps installing a fallback icon to handle cases where the theme may not provide an icon.

Once this lands, we would be happy to use the themed snap-store icon and install the current icon as a fallback to use. So I would suggest adding this to the Yaru theme.
