This isn't the issue here, it's a KPP exploit on 10.2 for the 7 thats missing
@nullpixel1, do you actually know if this exploit works against KPP?
@br3w3r that's Ians 10.1.1 exploit which was patched in iOS 10.2.1 and as @nullpixel1 stated, the problem is KPP Bypass, the exploit works on i7 10.2.
Note, the iPhone 7 is only supported till iOS 10.1.1 If you are already on iOS 10.2 with an iPhone 7, stay there. The actual exploit behind this still works, but the KPP bypass does not.
EDIT: It is actually a different exploit, not the 10.1.1 one https://bugs.chromium.org/p/project-zero/issues/detail?id=1004).
@1337jay man don't talk about stuff you don't know anything about , that's 2 different exploits ..
@Mila432 I've checked and it is indeed a different exploit, sorry for the misleading information but I thought he posted that one.
@Mila432 @1337jay so i did good? Sorry im still learning all this but i knew it was different.
@br3w3r no, the problem is kpp not the kernel
@clarityzzz Okay I thought maybe the new kernel could hopefully get past that depending on how the KPP was patched sorry for wasting everyone's time.
@br3w3r HAHAHAHAHAHA
@tjsreece chill man. I was demanding support for my device or anything I only linked to a new exploit to see what was possible. Sorry
yalu actually uses that bug as a kernel bug.
