Xenia: Xbox 360 Demos Incompatible

Xenia is not compatible with Xbox 360 Kiosk demos.

Please add support.

Disregard, I just found the PIRS files, and they do boot! The main launcher executable doesn't work though, but the games themselves do though.

@Margen67 Not true actually, I lower-cased the executable to see if that was the problem, but it isn't. I even tried checking to see if the XEX was devkit, but it looks like it's signed as retail.

There is a simple solution, extract the demo games from the Kiosk and run the demos individually, without the launcher. You can use this:

I have used this myself for Kiosk ISOs, this issue can be closed now

@niko1point0 We already knew that you can just boot the demos individually, this issue is more specifically about the fact that Xenia can't boot the launcher of any 360 Kiosk Demo Discs.

@dizzzy77 could you perhaps upload the log of what xenia does when it runs the launcher to possibly see what it's hanging up on?

Thanks @icup321. It appears the demo disk attempts to access Xbox avatar data, and then proceeds to fail out and not proceed any further. That, and a whole bunch of other processes, but XamAvatar data seems to be the most present out of them.

Oh I’m sorry, it said in the title “Demos incompatible” so I thought you only meant the games within the Kiosk, rather than the actual Kiosk Disc
