Xamarin.forms.googlemaps: AndroidX Support

Any plans to update this package to target the latest version of Xamarin Forms and the new AndroidX libraries?

I tried to update the packages of an app of mine and I couldn't because this library is tightly coupled to the old libraries of Android.

Yes, it works with AndroidX support library.
