Content Feature Request

Summary

I'd like to see a contribution landing page, similar to https://www.rust-lang.org/en-US/contribute.html from the old website.

We currently talk about code contributions on the homepage of this webpage, which links to rustc's contributing.md. Code contributions are just one facet of contributing, and rustc is just one of our many codebases. We should attempt to provide direction for all kinds of potential contributions.

As a first approximation, adapting the content from the old Rust website would be great. Ideally I'd like to see individual teams come up with a well-designed contribution funnel.

(If this grows to be large enough, having a "contribute" header on the navbar may be nice too)

Motivation

This would help provide a better funnel for people wishing to contribute.

Maintenance

Individual kinds of contribution ("run a rustbridge event!", "write some compiler code!", "hack on clippy!") may have dedicated contribution pages or sections maintained by relevant subteams or WGs.

Unresolved Questions

Integrating something like https://www.rustaceans.org/findwork into this site would be cool but out of scope for now.

This seems like a great idea to me (and we should ideally add a "Contribute" page to the right of the "Blog" link at the top right-hand-side corner of the page).

I'll try to think about what this might mean for the language team.
