In Calypso, the datepicker calendar shows faint gray circles around dates that have a post already scheduled, and mousing over that shows the number of posts scheduled for that day and their names.
You can see a screenshot of that behavior here: http://cld.wthms.co/A26y6A
Calypsofied Gutenberg currently doesn't do this, and only shows the calendar itself. I think it would be good to have this info showed there as well.

Marking enhancements of this sort as low priority for now.
Noting we've had another request for this in the forums.
Another complaint here. This one hits our diehard bloggers.

I have informed them that the issue is in our list of enhancements and will be added in the future.
The user in 1567530-zen would like a follow-up when this is implemented; just making a note of that here. :)
The user- 1633273-zen would also like an update when this is added.

Testing this I see that aside from the scheduled posts not showing on the calendar the current day (today), is not shown on the calendar like it was previously.

Another request on 4613987-hc - user asked to switch to classic editor for unrelated reasons which should resolve the calendar issue.
Requested in 13133129-hc as they accepted the block editor but rely on this feature to have a well-distributed schedule of content.

Noting there's an issue on core about this too with some design discussion:

Blogger here at Latetothegame.blog. This function is essential to scheduling blogs. Please find a way to implement it prior to launch.
If it can not be implemented can we at least still have access to the classic editor until it is?

In the new editor (which is garbage) the calandar does not bring up the other post you have up or upcoming. This was a pretty fundamental feature. How can I get it back?
Heh. Here's one more duplicate issue: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/13713 :-P
I need this feature too. It is needed for efficient and correct scheduling. What priority has been given to the fix please?
