Not too familiar with UWP toolkit. Can someone plse point me in right direction. Want to create a transparent blur in the hamburger menu. Is something like this possible in existing toolkit ?

@Pinox I don't think that's possible to make a part of the app transparent to the desktop background. The app in the screenscrhot seems to use Project Neon design, which is not yet available.
What you can do however is to add a frosted glass effect to the menu with a background image in your own application, not the computer background. Example here : https://xamltips.wordpress.com/2016/07/15/frosted-glass-behavior/
Thanks @Odonno much appreciated.
FYI, with the latest pre-release SDK you can actually create Window Blurs using new Composition SDK's - some documentation for that will probably appear towards the end of the week, but it'll only be available for people using Windows 10 Creators Update
@JohnnyWestlake When the docs will be published, I hope we will reopen this thread.
It's time to reopen this? 馃榾
@neilsustc There is already an issue for this. The AcrylicBrush should come soon to the toolkit.
