What was wrong?

  • The code which produced the error
    from web3 import Web3
  • The full output of the error
    ImportError: cannot import name 'Web3' from 'web3'
  • What type of node you were connecting to.
    I have tried to run this locally,anaconda and virtual environment.

How can it be fixed?

I m getting same problem can u tell me how u resolved it

Actually Its issue with file name. I used my filename as web3.py, So its fetching those functions from the same file.

Don't name your working directory or file as web3. Also mind the caps: from web3 (small w) import Web3 (capital W).
