@elaniobro, please leave a comment to let the funder (@owocki) and the other parties involved your implementation plan. If you don't leave a comment, the funder may expire your claim at their discretion.
Giddy up! Ready to work on this. Please let me know if there are any additional requirements not listed in #174 init() comment
no requirements as of now. we may want to make sure the design is finalized before laying a ton of CSS down. @algae12
Haha I was waiting to see when @Elaniobro would finally be able to claim an issue ^_^
Finally \m/
@owocki sounds good to me, I'll wait for both you and @algae12 to confirm the design via comment here.
I would like to know the following:
Thanks!
@Elaniobro You could use the bootstrap breakpoint as a reference (since we use bootstrap anyways) They seem to have gotten the dimensions right!
Will do.
Is there currently a framework in place? Bootstrap like you mentioned, and or one for the css? less || sass?
@Elaniobro yet to add sass | less support , will do it post merge of https://github.com/gitcoinco/web/issues/65 . Without it, maintaining css is getting messier.
Our front-end code base uses bootstrap library for now.
@algae12 and me thought we should shift away from it eventually and write our custom css but that's not happening any time soon ^_^
Hmm... should we wait for #65 to be merged then? Not only would it make it _easier_ to code, it will also save the step of having to retrofit it to fit into the new paradigm.
Also, I plan to use BEM methodology, objections?
@Elaniobro BEM looks neat. 馃憤 from my side
and the commit just got merged, feel free to add the pre-processor to the webpack config to add scss pre-processor. It might take me a day or two to get to it
this is merged now. https://github.com/gitcoinco/web/pull/147
does that unblock you?
@owocki, yes it does. I'll work on this in the coming day(s).
@thelostone-mc, I would say webpack alone should suffice. I don't see the need to put it in both gulp & webpack, unless you are deprecating gulp and want to place it in both as some fallback?
@Elaniobro webpack it is ^_^
closing the design issue now. i think we can call it 'final'
looking forward to having this page live so we can link it from gitcoin.co/toolbox instead of the silly google form we have there now !
Hi @owocki @Elaniobro @thelostone-mc where do we stand here? I'm new to the Gitcoin squad, nice to meet you both :)
Hey there @vs77bb, I believe we are complete. Waiting on peer review in #207.
Looking forward to seeing this work up on the website :)
@vs77bb nice to meet you too ! :)
owocki had a few comment which once addressed will be ready for shipment \m/
