they are also on github too @janeapp
Their app seems to be a fork of jitsi.
Maybe @ivanjiang5628 can help us find the right person ?
Hi there. I'm with jane.app. We'd love to have full Firefox support for our webrtc service. We were having trouble downgrading Firefox's resolution when in P2P mode, and because we were moving very quickly to release something when COVID-19 struck, we opted to just recommend the browsers that were working well.
We're hoping the jitsi team will be adding better support for Firefox in P2P mode and we'll update our fork when that happens.
Hi trevvy. It looks like Jitsi has improved support for Firefox recently https://community.jitsi.org/t/is-firefox-support-on-the-roadmap/29307/16 specifically around simulcast. The downscaling workarounds I mentioned earlier are actually simulcast features (that may be applied to P2P as well). I don't know the specifics of how jitsi handles downscaling in P2P, but I wanted to point that out in case there have been improvements there recently.
