Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to: https://meet.jit.si/TestFirefox

Expected Behavior:

Firefox asks me if I agree to share my sound card and camera.

Actual Behavior:

Nothing happens and I get an error message from the web site.

Firefox nightly on my Gentoo Linux box is indeed asking whether meet.jit.si should be given access to my microphone, so this would appear to be specific to your installation of Firefox and hardware situation. If you check about:permissions, did you maybe accidentally set that site to "never detect" the microphone?

If not, could you file a bug an Audio/Video Recording bug on Bugzilla, and give them information on which model of microphone you have, which connector it uses (USB/etc), whether you're using pulseaudio (you can find out in about:support), and confirm whether it works in an earlier version of Firefox or another browser? I can assist you with filing this bug, but since I can't reproduce it, it would be best for you to be involved.

about:permissions does not work at all for me.

Whoops, my apologies. The about:permissions page has been moved to the Tools > Page Info > Permissions menu, when you're on the tab that should have access to your microphone.
