Waveboxapp: microsoft teams - zoom 2 times causes auto scroll on some chats (needs verification)

Expected & actual behavior
Keeping the zoom but no auto scroll.

Auto scrolls in _some_ chats but others not. Seems to be when you zoom 2 times but not 3rd or 1st time.

Steps to reproduce
Zoom teams 2 times. Very random zoom.

Is the bug persistent or intermittent?
Intermittent.

Additional information
Only tested in one environment.

I'll take a look to see if I can reproduce. Was this with a hidpi monitor again? I wonder if it's something to do with that

The computer is hidpi but I am using a second monitor to check teams.

Still odd it would auto scroll specifically on second zoom but not on 1st or 3rd.

Did not try on my desktop machine so can't verify there just now.

I have not encountered it again here. So this should in no way be a show stopper. Will continue to check it out. For now you can add need-more-info or something on it.

If you're not seeing it anymore I'll close it off for now - it could have been some kind of issue in teams itself which has since been fixed. If it comes back up though just re-open :)

I am seeing it again now.

One way I could reproduce it is to have the window on a second monitor (connected using usb-c dock)
Place teams on one side and atom on the other
Zoom 2x so text is smaller
Go to old message where GIF is located as last message (does not need to be a running gif) (and also of course with lots of text before the gif so that there is a scrollbar)
Switch between one and the other private message

At one point the autoscroll starts to where the GIF ends in the message

Are you able to reproduce this in the browser? I wonder if it's some coding on MS teams side

I have tested it quickly in chrome Version 69.0.3497.100 but do not seem to get the same effect there.....to be honest it feels and (from feeling) renders differently a bit compared to teams inside wavebox.

Thanks I'll see if I can get this reproduced. I'm wondering if it's down to the dual monitor setup or something else :-/

This has been verified to be a problem directly in teams because it happens on desktop and on web. Closing ticket as it is teams problems.
