Instead of creating a new issue, a new translation announcement (along with its description, repository URL, call for contributors etc.) should be posted here as a comment. Further discussions and progress tracking for a specific translation should happen in the corresponding repository.

Hello,

We are trying to help Indonesian developers learning Vue by translating the official documentation to Bahasa Indonesia. I am adityapurwa, a native Indonesian, and together with:

• Didik Tri Susanto

We are trying to translate Vue documentation to Bahasa Indonesia. For a list of completed translations and progress, see the checklist below. We will try to keep the velocity of translating one page per day and doing a repository sync every Friday.

We are inviting others to contribute, you can find the repository at https://github.com/adityapurwa/id.vuejs.org/ (please read the contributing.md file on guide for how to contribute). We might move the repository to a dedicated organization account later if it was necessary.

I've started the Swedish translation. Feel free to join the organisation, should you want to help.

I, too, have created a fancy progress tracker just like our Indonesian, German and Dutch friends but you will find mine here.

Just posting again to confirm that the German, Indonesian and any other ongoing efforts still actually are ongoing. It's just that I heard that the Dutch one has been put on hold.

With Vue 3 on the horizon, perhaps that is the wisest decision.

But then again, surely the v3 docs will be heavily based on the v2 ones and a lot of it will be able to be repurposed.

Hi @sustained, we're still trying to process the Indonesian translation despite Vue 3 might be released soon, we believe some people might be still using Vue 2 and needed the translation.

@sustained Where did you hear that? It is just a lot of content to translate and I try to do it in between everything else going on.

Since the API of 3 will be similar to 2, I will probably just finish the documentation of 2 and see what is reusable for 3.

I will try to have a fixed time slot to do the translations.

EDIT: After giving it some thought, I will delay further translations until it is clear what can be reused of the current documentation.

I am still working on the German translation (it's going very slowly though due to limited free time) and will continue to do so despite v3 coming up. I kind of concur with what the others have said that the v2 docs will probably still be used even when v3 is out and I hope that I can reuse a lot of the v2 docs for translating the v3 docs.

I'm using VueJs since a while and as I find it a very useful framework, an idea came into my mind about giving my contribuition to the project by writing the documentation translated in Italian language.

I did a text search on this page without any result, if there's already a fork about this language maybe I can collaborate, otherwise I will do it.

Is not something that I can do in the immediate unfortunately, but I think that it can be a nice task for the summer holidays! :-D

Hi friends,

I have started translating into Azerbaijan language (the repo : https://github.com/mshukurlu/az.vuejs.org ), I translated some sections and made a PR on master branch,I think there is a wrong branch for merge,where need I push it? What else can I do?.Please guide me.Does any slack or any other communication chanel for keeping contact?
