My name is Owen - I am a friend and colleague of @sagalbot, Jeff, the creator of Vue Select.
Jeff was involved in a car vs bicycle accident on Wednesday night while we was riding his bicycle. He is currently in the hospital with an extensive list of injuries.
Overall, he's doing good and the doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
However, he will be unavailable to respond to issues or pull requests for at least the next couple of weeks.
We please ask for your continued patience and understanding as Jeff recovers from this accident.
@owenconti thanks for the update. @sagalbot, please relax and support yourself in every way to have a full recovery. We are very grateful for your work. 鉂わ笍
Sorry to hear this mate. I hope your recovery goes well and that you'll be back on the bike in no time.
Courage and patience ! 馃 for your recovery !
Hope he can get better soon.
Feel better, man!
Thanks for all your great work!
Thanks so much for the support, it really means a lot! I'm hoping to get back to work and open source as soon as I can. Really appreciate the patience with the current open issues, especially the reduce bug. I had a release just about ready to go to patch that bug before the accident, and I'll get that up as soon as my brain is able to handle it :)
@sagalbot hope you're on good way to recover! Maybe it helps you: I just pushed PR #914 to fix some nasty reduce bugs you mentioned. Feel free to take your time though, no need to rush into reviewing it until you feel restored enough.
@sagalbot I hope you recover soon my brother, thank you very much for your help always. Greetings from Argentina.
Hope you recover soon and health!

saw this thread late. Sorry to hear it. Hoping you get well Jeff
I had asked @owenconti when I should close this a while ago. He said when you feel like you're back. Well, I just pushed the 9th release in 7 days, so I think I'm back. The comments and reactions in this issue were so uplifting and I know that I'll come back to look at them many times. Thank you all for the support!
