Vscode: Proposal: expose manual installation of vscode-remote

It would be nice if we could expose a more easy none reverseengineering method to install vscode-remote inside a container or target remote directory with a predefined config so a developer only needs to connect and it is all installed.

i am aware that this is do able via vscode ide at present but i want a script able way to deploy many workspaces predefined. You maybe already got or can need the code for vscode-online anyway.
