Just like any modern browser I think this is useful.
Obviously I can go through the sidebar & open the file again but this is really handy when I have a huge number of files in a project.

@bpasero I am not talking about Closed Editor. I am talking about the files on the tab in the same project. Like in Chrome we have different tabs & if we close one tab then there is Undo Close Tab Button. I hope you get it now, if not I'll attach an image so please confirm.
@deadcoder0904 yes I do not understand what you mean
I had 2 tabs open - Google & Twitter & then I closed Twitter.
So now if I right click on Google Tab it gives me Undo Close Tab which will act the same way in VSCode.
The difference being in Mozilla it was Undo Close Tab & in VSCode it will be Undo Close File. Understood❓

@deadcoder0904 so you only complain about the wording here or is there some functionality missing?
I don't think you are understanding it.
It's a feature request that will let me open a Recently Closed File in the Same Project by Right Clicking on the Open file.
You are thinking about Reopen Closed Editor & I am talking about Reopen Closed File in the same project. Both are different things.
:+1: "Undo close tab" is so useful in the browser... would also be a great feature when I close files in error.
CTRL+P lists recently opened project files - If I remember the filename this can be very quick to use
I'm really missing this feature.
Use it all the time in chrome when I accidentally or just too soon closed a tab and want to have it back.
I'm using Reopen Closed Tab extension to achieve this functionality but it would be great if this could be added as a native feature.

@fonziemedia thanks for the recommendation! this is exactly what I missed.
would still be awesome if added as a feature, though..
