the libinput driver on linux doesn't support inertia scrolling so I am hoping you can add this for the linux version.
Here is the info why it is not supported in the touchapd driver.

Sad to see this issue closed. Kinetic scrolling is something that makes the touchpad on Mac's feel natural and nice to use. Having it in the tool that a lot of people use every single day would make quite a difference. This isn't just some 'feature' that might be used once in a while... I don't think anyone has ever used vscode and not 'scrolled'.
