I'd like to see vscode support css-modules[1][2], and the syntax of its plugins. I know right now improvement on the css linter is on the backlog, but just putting this issue out there for thoughts and documentation.
Sounds like functionality that could be provided by an extension.
@kumarharsh I have wrote an extension for css modules.
Wow @clinyong. Great job. Do the modules support the import syntax instead of require('..')?
Edit: I see that it doesn't support import yet. Hope to see that support soon.
@kumarharsh import will be supported later.
I think this this issue is resolved with the plugin, so I'm closing this one.
Per this comment: https://github.com/clinyong/vscode-css-modules/issues/4#issuecomment-283922044 it seems that the CSS Modules extension does not add support for css modules to the CSS Linter... so not sure if this issue is really closed. I haven't yet found a way to add "composes" as a known CSS Property in VS Code
@polizz as a workaround, I've disabled vscode's css linting, and am using the vscode-stylelint with some custom .stylelintrc for allowing @value and composes:
Here's my config:
