Currently the link-hinting in vimium annotates the clickable links and allows to click them.
It would be great if hovering over links can be implemented. This is especially useful for hoverable dropdown menus and for hovering to preview video.
I would be willing to implement this, but am not sure if this is considered a good feature.
Can you point to a particular site/use case?
Also, Steve has had quite strong feelings against adding new commands in past (#1269), so excepting any drastic change in my absence, I am not optimistic about this being added.
A particular use is in Paycom. Currently, i need to be able to hover over a punch time of my employees to see what the system has rounded it to. with vimium, i can't. slowing me down y'all.
Is there any status update on this?
Nothing new at the moment.

Would love to see this for those sites that require :hover state as part of basic functionality.
also useful in urban dictionary.
also a very useful use case for me is to hover a link and see the target of the link in the bottom left corner of my browser(firefox)
