Happens the same for me on mac

I'm having issues with multi cursor when in insert mode! is not working as expected.

aThis is not an issue if I disabled Vim mode.
Same problems as above, cannot create more than 3 cursors using keyboard combinations, and also cannot select text.
Is there is a way to disable this feature?
I also find this very frustrating. As a VIM noob it would be very nice if multicursor worked as normal (regular vs-code) in insert mode.
Ever when disabling <D-d> in vim.handleKeys, <Cmd-D> still triggers multi cursor mode.
Needs to be an option to disable multi-cursor.
