In the latest release notes you wrote about Ubuntu 17.04 support, but you probably wanted to write 18.04, because you have an apt repository available for it?
I guess it's really 17.04 because I just tried on 18.04 and it doesn't install :
Error: No access to Vesta repository
I have it installed on 18.04, but I installed it when 18.04 was not supported yet. Now I edited the apt repository, upgraded vesta, and it works.
Did I understand right - it is possible to install Vesta on 18.04 without errors?
@ram108 yes, but in the next release 0.9.8-22
@ram108 if I understand correctly, you can install Vesta on 16.04 and then force update to 18.04. But thanks to @anton-reutov we now know it's just a matter of time !
Vesta-nginx, built for 16.04, will not run on 18.04 due to libcurl incompatibility, I had to LD_PRELOAD libcurl.so from 16.04 to make it work on 18.04. But now a repository with Vesta built for 18.04 is available, so LD_PRELOAD is not needed any more.
But now a repository with Vesta built for 18.04 is available
Not recommended to using now. We are testing installation on Ubuntu 18.03
I don't have any problems, 校袦袙袪. It was a clean install on 18.04, but about 3 months ago.
But please publish full debian package specs and source code of vesta-nginx and other components to allow rebuilding them with other system libraries.
