Vagrant: `block in in_addr': invalid address (IPAddr::InvalidAddressError)

Hi,

I have Vagrant 1.8.1 installed, and I am trying to use the laravel/homestead box.

I had this error before in a normal Ubuntu box, and it required just chasing the syntax, but the Vagrantfile with Homestead is different as it's using a YAML file, so the syntax is different.

Any ideas?

Are you able to reproduce this issue with a vanilla Vagrantfile? (no homestead)

Turns out it just didn't like the IP I added. I changed it to 192.168.xx.xx (2 numbers at the end instead of 3) and it worked.

@cjmellor you were getting this error because your IP address was using an invalid range.

According to your homestead.yml file the ip in use was: "192.168.12.345"

345 is way above 255, which is the upperbound value of a segment of an ip address.
