To close this part of the interface is pretty unintuitive.
Making the icon to a cross or make it colored like other action-buttons would be more sensical i think.

@bjgajjar Oh yea i was kinda thinking this is now one bucket(i thought i had postet it in directus/suite); it should be moved didnt think about that sorry.

Despite being a feature-request, maybe we shouldn't close this... should be easy to implement and I agree the UX for this is a bit broken as of now.

@benhaynes from a design perspective, clicking only of the sidebar headers will expand it, so changing just the information one to a cross doesn't really make too much sense in the grand scheme of things does it?

I was thinking that the top Info Module is dedicated to toggling the sidebar, while the others are accordions for collapsing each section. Yes, clicking anywhere on the closed sidebar would open it, but at least this gives a visual indicator for closing it (even though the whole top header click would close it). Here's the design mock:
