When using the Docker image, the Backend seems to use http instead of https when Proxied forward. This leads to images not being rendered as CORS will have a problem with this.
Maybe there already is this kind of feature(of forcing the baseurl to use https in the generation of links), but i can not find it.
I tried fiddling around with the storage object in the api config to no avail.

This is most probably something the API needs to handle.
Hey @WoLfulus @bjgajjar — is this API or Docker?
Doesnt matter which one @benhaynes . This will happen in any installation
that has a load balancer in front. This is because we dont have a base-url
for directus config, and its also related to the thumbnail issue I created
today.
Setting a complete root url solves full urls but thumbs will remain broken

@WoLfulus Is my issue https://github.com/directus/api/issues/1569 related this?

Sounds like the same issue to me, as rijk said the root url/base url seems to not work as of right now. 🤔
