I did not make any update to wait for the jailbreak
and at the last you didnt do 12.3.1 jailbreak :/ why

Back it up using itunes?
Apple some how were stupid and patched the exploit that exsists in 12 - 12.2 in 12.3/12.3.1 then for some reason unpatched it in 12.4 and then re patched it in 12.4.1.
Update to ios 12.4 before they stop signing it which might be very soon as apple are behaving very oddly by releasing two betas 13 and strangly 13.1

After god knows how many tweets and news articles released, reddit posts etc.

You should know by now if you were on 12.1.3-12.3.X that you should have updated to 12.4.

No excuse for it and this issue just costs time unnecessarily.
