Can confirm that it works,
I’ll list my step by step process if anyone needs it

  1. Download and install chimera
  2. Reboot
  3. Open and tap the arrow in chimera
  4. Tap restore rootfs then the big button that used to say jailbreak
  5. Once rebooted open unc0ver and jailbreak

Same, on iPhone 6s 12.2 using B5

yup

Same I’m on iPhone 7 12.2 B5 thru iOS Gods

You'll have to re-enable updates, let the update download a bit, turn airplane mode on, delete the update srom Storage, immediatly reboot and retry. It'll work.

"Unable to check for updates"

"Unable to check for updates"

You'll have to re-enable updates

Yeah unable to check for updates fr

Open the unc0ver app and disable the "disable updates" toggle and re-jailbreak and follow the instructions given above.

Thanks trying rn

It did not work for me I tryied 3 times

I downloaded it all the way to where it said 6 mins n air plane then went reboot turned back on an after that I went stright to jail break an it said the same thing

Yeah, made no difference for me too

You didn't delete the OTA file as I said.

im having the same issues but i actually deleted it under iPhone storage am i supposed to delete it anywhere else

Same issue here IOS 12.2, Iphone X. Tried to send Unc0ver with Tweakbox and with Cydia impactor, same error. No update in storage I already deleted it...

follow the video link I sent, it removes the ios update file

im watching to video rn but im still getting an error

I followed the video but still getting the error, really think its a problem with unc0ver

I deleted the file in my storage that said update then went to air plane then reboot then I went to uncover turned on disable up dates after the re boot and delete of the file in storage , I tryied it and nothing same thing even after putting back on disable updates after delete it .

got a fix

Chimera just updated go to that download it and restore rootfs once complete it says to reboot to get chimera when it reboots make sure you do a hard reset while it is rebooting to cancel chimera. then once your phone is back on go into the uncover app and jailbreak. I had the same issue but now it is fixed just make sure you hard reset while it is rebooting to avoid getting the chimera jailbreak

it works 100%

once it allows you to bypass the rootfs error then jailbreak it will reboot you just hop back on the phone and jailbreak again it will take a min but once done it will succeed

Thanks, hope it works

it should work it worked for me i was having the same issue just make sure u enable the OTA block once your done

the uncover team will fix it soon im sure of it but its a #tempfix for now

Worked with Chimera 1.2.2 and unc0ver 3.3.0 b5.

I’m unable to download chimera from Tweakbox it says click to install and nothing happens, no profile installed and no app. Any suggestions

Try AppValley. app-valley.vip

Thx I got chimera, after several tries and some fiddling it appeared to be working I ran chimera 2x and upon opening it, it says I’m jail broken but Cydia isn’t on my devise.

What device do you have?

I now have “slio” on my device but it won’t open even after rebooting I attempted to jailbreak in uncover but am now getting “unable to install deb for dqkg”

I have a 7+ iOS 12.4

After 20+ attempts and re-restoring rootfs every time before attempting the unconver jailbreak in airplane mode I now a have Cydia Jordan your a GOAT for the helpful and extremely quick respires thank you

No problem.

No cydia on tap

Can confirm as well - Installing Chimera and Restore RootFS - After it reboots as it needs to complete the restore FS -> Run unc0ver and BAM works :) Thanks all!
