Many 3rd party filters for ads, privacy, malware, annoyances...but not for porn. Could you please consider adding it? I'm sure 310,699 users from r/nofap would be grateful and many would download your extension, since this is really big problem for people and thus far, there is no efficient/practical porn blocker (k9 included).
there is no efficient/practical porn blocker
Sure there is, you can add Steve Black's porn Filterlist - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/StevenBlack/hosts/master/alternates/porn/hosts

@uBlock-user It works great, thanks! Hopefully @gorhill adds it as one of the default filterlists in one of the future releases.
@mapx- Thanks , I'll try it right now. Hopefully it's as fast as google's DNS servers.
@WowDude Thanks, but i'm little skeptical when an extension asks for permission to read all of my data. I trust @gorhill since I've been using uBlock/uMatrix for years now , but can't say the same for other devs. Nothing personal, just don't have time now to properly analyze a new add-on and see what it does and if it's trustworthy.
adult-blocker though seems like a nice thing, and i'll be sure to check it when i get more time.
...just don't visit such websites..
:) Easier said than done. Obviously, one rarely does it on purpose, sometimes (on reddit for example) you just instinctively click on some shortened url and you land at some porn domain. When you're on NoFap, even a glimpse at porn content can ruin your progress and send you into the downward spiral. So besides good will, some sort of filter is, i'm afraid, necessary.
Thanks for your help once again!
Thank you all for your help. @uBlock-user 馃 This solves my problem so there is no need for this issue to stay open.
Mozilla does analyze and sign an addon before accepting it, isn't that enought?
They used too, but AFAIK it鈥檚 not the case anymore because it was too much time consuming.
