Describe the issue

derStandard.at is a major news website in Austria, unfortunately they aggressively blocking reading more than 4 -5 articles when using adblockers.

Versions

I'm using Nano Adblocker 1.0.0.54 (with Easylist Germany) + Nano defender 14.58 on Chrome 69.0.3464.0 dev, but the same is occurring in other browsers with just e.g. uBlock Origin.

I can't reproduce, the only way to get the anti-adblock message on my end is to disable uBO-filters.

Im pretty sure that the triggerfunction uses cookies to detect it.
Because the shown adscree will disapear if you clear your cookies (from derstandart) via cookie autodelet
The main culprit is that we have to use cookies and JS.Because the ad detection would not work in that way if you can simply block it.That was the way for years with the standart, the steped up their game and
iplimented a paywall with some kind of edgy adblock detection!

Maybee your vpns filter some scripts?
What can i do to help you to propper debug this?

You are blocking imagesrv.adition.com/js/srp.js, which uBlock specifically allows to circumvent the anti-adblock-message.
If you use noscript there is really no point trying to reproduce anything on my end.
Test with only uBlock enabled.

Did you read what in this scripts is implimented? thats tracking delux ! Its clear why no "adoverlay" is displayed.
Because now im beeing tracked an fingerprinted !
In my opinion thats not a proper FIX

There is no exception for https://script-at.iocnt.net/iam.js in uBlock, why do you think that this script is allowed?
If you find a fix that does not allow https://imagesrv.adition.com/js/srp.js I will gladly add it and remove the exception filter.

I think you can only prevent that if you inject some script at your side(directly in the browser) to alter the function which is called in iam.js - At this point i have no clue how it is implemented. I will look into that....

Addons:Nano adblocker, Nano defender(with the same block liste which i posted earlier), Cookie autodelet,decentraleyes,Https everywhere,skip redirect,Tampermonkey(stabel)
Script which is used in Tampermonkey - http://reeksite.com/anti-adblock-killer/anti-adblock-killer.user.js
(in know that it should not be used any more, but its working ;) )

Why is it working now ? i think that the custom Js code in the anti-adblock-killer script which is used with tampermonkey is preventing the function or funktions to blend in the ad-overlay

The problem is that uAssets is for

• issues that occur if one uses uBlock with a default setup
• those issues can then be fixed by adding filters to one of uBlock's own filter lists.

I don't doubt that your fix works for you, or that I can add some custom tampermonkey script to fix this issue without allowing https://imagesrv.adition.com/js/srp.js.
