Has this project been abandoned? I see the last commit is 3 years ago.

Yes it's abandoned. However there is an actively maintained fork at https://github.com/corejavascript/typeahead.js

Thanks for asking. I asked a few years ago too, to no avail.

I haven't been as active with the corejavascript fork as I've wanted to be. I've changed jobs and don't do day-to-day JS development like I used to. Would be happy to help get this repo back up to speed and try to find other maintainers, though.
