The current release is 1.8.1, which contains a number of inconveniences when running twine internally: no ca_cert support outside of the command line option, and no keyring support. These issues area resolved in master, as are other improvements. Furthermore, the next milestone has no open issues.
It seems like twine is ready for a minor version bump and release. It would be great to put these changes out on PyPI to cover more edge cases and increase usage. As I'd benefit from such a release directly, is there anything specific holding it up, or anything I can do to help it get out?
Thanks!
There are far too many known bugs to ethically release 1.9.0
@sigmavirus24 I am also wanting some of those features. Perhaps it's time to make a 1.9.0 milestone to collect whatever the ethical minimum is so that interested parties can work towards it?
