Mounting up removes the disguise buff, but it shouldn't. I'm not sure whether that spell ID is this one or this one, but this aura might be involved somehow too.

yup, original issue is still valid.

The player also cannot receive the buff while mounted, but I have no earthly idea whether that is also incorrect or not. Quest's still around on live, I think, so might be worth checking there.

In this quest, npc https://www.wowhead.com/npc=27245/ doesn't start a dialog

Its both of those spells which one you get depends on wether your character is male or female the master spell should trigger either the male or female aura but this spell is not scripted it is currently handled by sai on quest start or via gossip option on scully to recover the disguise with conditions so that sai casts correct spell depending on sex.

The quest does start a dialogue you have to select the gossip option to kiss the ring then walk out of the building.

The below may help though as it has been noted that if player jumps down the middle instead of going down the stairs the body guards will still be within 30 yards of high abbot langren when you try to speak to him so he wont display the option if you go the long way without taking the short cut the bodyguards are far enough away for the gossip option to be shown
