Hi. I love The Lounge. I use it daily on SaidIt.net. I love SaidIt so much I'm writing an article about it: https://infogalactic.com/info/SaidIt
Today I started a Discord chat. https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/bkz/saiditnet_discord_chat/
This is because the admin needed to reboot for some reason and it came up. https://saidit.net/s/frontpage/comments/b9t/is_there_a_discord_chat_for_saidit_while_the/
So I'm hoping, coming to you, the source, we might find answers rather than speculate...
Can The Lounge be bridged/synced with Discord?
We're all for FLOSS but the reality is we want broad access for whomever and however.
Thanks for your attention.
~ Jason
Hey @JasonCarswell!
@dgw's answer is on point and I believe should help you get sorted out.
I am closing this as a support question. For further question, feel free to ask on Stack Overflow using the thelounge label, or join the #thelounge on Freenode.
I think the easiest way would be to use a bot to bridge a discord channel to an IRC channel, so everybody can use it and you don't split your community. I am part of a community that developed this bot and uses it daily serving thousands of messages, so I can recommend that https://github.com/zachbr/Dis4IRC
Thanks everyone!
I'll pass the info along to the SaidIt admins.

Not on its own, no.
If you can run The Lounge, though, you might be able to also run BitlBee alongside it.
The Lounge _can_ connect to BitlBee, because it's (more or less) just another IRC server, and BitlBee has protocol plugins for Discord and Matrix.
