Sometimes i have a terminal opened for a folder which does not belong to a workspace, so there is no way to upload to this folder without switching a workspace. It would be nice just to be able to upload within it.

So the feature would allow a user to drag and drop files over the terminal widget, and it would upload it inside the terminal's cwd? If so +1, it would be convenient :)

yes, in addition to drag and drop, also the context menu item
