The-turing-way: Arrange group meetings for February and March 2019

Summary

Our current meeting schedule (see #28) only runs as far as the end of January. We'll need to book rooms here for our future Zoom meetings - how does the schedule below look for everyone?

If we stick to the existing pattern, we'll have the following at 2-4pm:

  • 6th Feb: Zoom, ACE
  • 13th Feb: Slack (@LouiseABowler to cancel Jack Good room when she's back)
  • 20th Feb: sprint
  • 27th Feb: Zoom, ACE
  • 6th March: Slack
  • 13th March: Zoom, Jack Good
  • 20th March: Slack
  • 27th March: Zoom, Jack Good (no Kirstie)

What needs to be done?

Heya! Just for reference, this is my availability for these meetings:

I think this is all fine - I'm mostly available.

If folks want to change the 13 Feb meeting to a slack chat where I can join (I'll be on my phone on the way to give a talk) then that would work for me....but if you can all zoom together and have it be productive then I think just keep the regular schedule ๐Ÿ˜ธ

I'm fine with slack for the 13th

Me too - it was tricky in yesterday's meeting to talk and keep track of what was going in the to-do list, so I think going with an entirely Slack meeting would be easier.

I won't be able to make next week's meeting so I'll skip the emoji vote, but I've made a room booking for the 6th anyway in case you do want it for Zoom. Rooms for the other weeks are booked too, I'll update above and send links round nearer the time.

I think we're converging on zoom and slack (๐ŸŽ‰) in the vote above. @rosiehigman - I hope that doesn't put you at to much of an inconvenience. If there are key points you need feedback on, just ping them in the slack channel and we'll reply during/after the meeting.

That's fine by me, I might need to drop out for the end of the Zoom tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜ธ

Closing this. Not sure if we keep the slot going forward - forgot what we discussed in Sheffield to be honest - but a new issue is probably appropriate anyway.
