I commented on the old issue, but I thought I could make a new issue (see last paragraph!). I'm still having this issue on the current build. v35 is noticeably more fluid when typing, and especially so if I hold down a key. Here are two performance traces, one of the v62 and one of v35 (I think I did them correctly).
The delay occurs on both my surface pro and my much faster desktop, both running Win10. Both traces were taken on the laptop (I can retake on my desktop if it would help). No plugins for either version, both running full vanilla with v62 installing through an update.
I also just got a replacement for my surface pro, with a brand new win10 install. Terminus was one of my first installs on this machine and I'm still having the typing lag. I'm sure both versions of Terminus were vanilla, I tried v62 then v35 and got the same results as before.
Also quick disclaimer, I'm not very familiar with all this yet, so I'm sorry if I'm misplacing something. I actually made this account to comment this issue a few month ago, but my account was randomly flagged so I never got to it. I also don't know if comments show up to you as new issues, so please delete this/I'll delete this if it's unnecessary.

Hey Rod, I've read your previous comment, but forgot to reopen the issue and it completely slipped my mind since.
The new trace has on average 15ms from keypress to display update (vs 10ms in the old trace). It's hard to say where the extra 5ms went exactly, but I just shaves off a few here and there, which should give you a bit more responsive input.
The new installer will pop up here as soon as it's built: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Eugeny/terminus/build/artifacts
That has fixed it. Amazing the difference 5ms makes, its like night and day.
Pretty pumped to be on the latest build now, thanks for the fix!
Glad this helped!
Just tested the new version, works like a charm. Thanks!
