I was reading https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1405031 which seems to have added some enhancements to identifying mouse+keyboard clicks in Nightly. Thought it might contain some useful enhancements for TC to be able to make use of so wanted to post here to ask.
Thanks for the hint! If I understand the implemented feature correctly, it's about the possibility to catch different kinds of mouseclicks on the toolbar icon (and address bar icon). That might be useful to combine showing the popup and maybe defining a "special action" for middle/ctrl-clicks, like disabling isolation, opening a new tmp, or any of the available "actions".
The only thing I actually miss is that typing in the URL bar would be recognized (which I understand is FF problem and TC, unfortunately, has no means to distinguish from URL click).
In that case it would be possible to implement opening in a new container when a user enters a new URL into URL bar that has a different domain/subdomain destination than previous one.
^^ Anyway, TC is one of the best extensions out there and a big kudos to @stoically to provide us such a great WE.
THANK YOU
@crssi Happy that you still like it :D The Isolation based on address bar might actually be possible, opened #327 to check/track that.
