Tdesktop: Can't remove "User created the group" for all users

Created on 1 Oct 2020  Â·  7Comments  Â·  Source: telegramdesktop/tdesktop

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create new group and enable "Remain anonymous" permission for yourself
  2. Now you will see "Your_name created the group «Group name»" in preview of this group in chatlist:
    image
  3. When you write something in chat you will see message of group creation with your nick in chat:
    image
  4. When you try to delete this message, you can do it only for yourself:
    image
  5. But other people is see this message too (I tested it with my other account (it's even not in my contacts)):
    image
  6. Now go to iOS telegram app and tap on this message – you can delete it for all:

And it's really deleting it for all.

Expected behaviour

Make us able to delete this service message from Telegram Desktop too because it's ruining new "anonymous" thing for chat admins

@Neurotoxin001 Thanks! I'll fix that in the next version.

@john-preston On Android and iOS you can also block and report people via join message (so you don't have to wait for spammer to post something before you report them).
Unfortunately, TDesktop lacks this feature. Could it also be implemented?

@MasterGroosha Are you talking about "joined by invite link" message? Otherwise it was someone who added the user, right?

@Neurotoxin001 Ah, right, in public groups (for example) there won't be any "by invite link". Ok, I see.

@john-preston on Android in private supergroups you can also long tap "User joined via invite link" and also have "Block User", "Report User" and "Delete all from User"

Edit: oh, I see your commit. Pardon my comment above.
