There's the ability to control 8 outputs (relays) but no ability to have 8 inputs? I would like to see 8 switches and/or 8 buttons.

Well, the esp8266 generally doesn't have enough pins to let you do both, but I suppose you could have one that has 8 buttons and another that has 8 relays.

Well, when thinking HA system to the end. This makes sense.
One ore more Device(s) for input. One ore many devices for output.
Freedom of choice is always good...
I would have an idea for real scenario in my home. A master switch board. Easy and clean usage.
Easy for everyone to use.
