Hello svelte's community!
Svelte is definitely a revolutionary solution in web development.
But there are some issues that in my opinion are slowing down its popularization, like typescript supporting, unresolved issues etc.
Developers like me are using svelte in their projects but don't have a time to help with code contribution and would like to help with money.
In this case I would like to ask you if there is an opportunity to donate somewhere using patreon or another donation system if it will trigger an motivation to grow?
For the curious: #119 Commitment to project
I am new to svelte myself, but I think 3 years after the time of writing "Svelte has yet to prove itself" line it might worth a revisit.
This question comes up from time to time. Funding doesn't alter the commitment in other ways. It might help cover some hosting bills, but if it comes to the point where we require funding to make ends meet, we will let the community know.
It's also worth adding that if we went at a fast pace adding every feature under the sun, we're more likely to risk bloating the project and/or breaking/regressing features, and making bad design decisions we can't escape.
It's a careful balance between serving the needs of the community, and maintainers, and going fast.
