Case update not displaying more than 18 updates.
all updates should be visible in case update section, or at least the last 18
after 18 update or emails , case updates is not displaying new entries.
I just tried this and i didn't see any problem.
I tried with "Case Updates Threaded" (22 updates, all show correctly). Was this how you tried it, or what kinds of updates do you mean? Is it adding notes in the History subpanel?
did more tests, this is happening for emails updates. i can add update using the text box.
@boombata , an issue has been tested on recent version of SuiteCRM(7.7.9) and not appear, can you confirm the version you tested, and also is your instance is upgraded or fresh installation?
7.7.4 upgraded to 7.7.8
I have tested to add 20 comments, it works.
I have noticed this issue on a case where customer and I exchanged lot of emails.
to be precise only the new emails are not added to the threads, new comments are well added.
in this case i have 11 emails visible and 45 email exchanged.
@boombata , can you test an issue in 7.7.9 for me? And if still appear, just let me know.
upgraded to 7.7.9, the case still not show all emails in the case updates feed, looks like there is a limitation in the number of emails to display, i will try to help by looking at the caseupdates module later today.
quick update, i'm wondering if issue is not due to emails with body > 64 kB because i'm working on a possible issue of email to case failure when email lenght > 64kb (still need to duplicate issue before creting a bug)
I confirm that if email body text is > 65536 Bytes, the aop_case_update is not created because the size exceeds mysql description TEXT column.

@boombata , an issue has been tested in new instance, in both cases: updates and mail exchanges i been not able replicate an issue, my question is:
Can you test an issue on no-upgraded version, i mean on fresh version, just download 7.7.9, and test an issue, if not appear, it means it is something about upgrade process.
