Stride: Option for scene editor's navigation control to match Blender viewport

Created on 5 Oct 2019  路  1Comment  路  Source: stride3d/stride

Blender is a very popular 3D modeling software and is the one that I personally spend a lot of time in. That make it disorienting for me whenever I switch over to Xenko's scene editor because I ended up panning the view instead of rotating. It would be great if there's a setting to match navigation control to Blender. Another great open source game engine with similar navigation to Blender is Godot and it was one less barrier preventing me from acclimating to the engine. This option will let users of related open source programs adapt to Xenko faster.

Perhaps as an option/keybinding setting. There are going to be a lot of different preferences out there. I use Blender, especially since 2.8, but am more attuned to Cinema 4D's navigation shortcuts. Is it possible to set and switch bindings in Xenko? Creating a Blender-friendly setup would probably make for useful contribution to the project.
