Is there any plan/roadmap to release an LTS with ghc 8.2 support?

We usually wait between 3 and 6 months between LTS releases. LTS 9.0 was released on July 26, putting LTS 10 in the next three months. Most likely this will occur after the GHC 8.2.2 release.

Yep. +1 to releasing it with ghc 8.2.2; this is fairly consistent with how we've done it in the past.

We just shipped nightly with GHC 8.2.2, so I'd suggest we hold off a week to see if any issues pop up.

I would love a kind of pre - announcement ... Is that possible ? This is to push for a hackage update and be sure it goes in the next LTS.

I would love to have a new GHC 8.2.2-based LTS release, too.
