Spring-cloud-gateway: Previously I was working with zuul gateway but when decided to use websocket in my project then i found that zuul with spring boot does not support websocket, so i decided to move to spring-cloud-gateway but I'm getting an error

Probably because you have spring security on your classpath

Yes It's there and i also provided my own web security configurer but still I'm getting the login page.

Well that is not a problem with the Gateway, if you are not expecting to get the login page that is an issue with your Spring Security config.

@MarcelRosenberger The problem was with spring security config cause i was trying to use WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter and it's not compatible with Webflux security when i switched to @EnableWebFluxSecurity and created a bean SecurityWebFilterChain securitygWebFilterChain(ServerHttpSecurity http) then it worked.

I don't think WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter is the culprit of the error. The main root cause is Spring Cloud Gateway is not compatible with spring-boot-starter-web dependency. So if any of the dependency you use and it happens to have the starter-web in it, you need to exclude the starter-web. Example as below:
