Describe the solution you'd like
Zoom has a concept of »breakout rooms«, allowing the moderator divide participants into separate sub chats. Groups can be configured and controlled on the fly during video calls. Zoom suggests sub groups by itself which the moderator can use and/or reconfigure to her liking.
Having this in Nextcloud Talk is desirable.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The only alternative coming to my mind achieving similar in Nextcloud Talk is preparing several conversations in advance and asking participants at some point in the conversation to join "their room" – and return at a given time. But this lacks the interactivity of »breakout rooms« and may confuse participants, as they need to switch to different browser windows or tabs.
