I am completely new to GitHub, as well as using stuff like Spleeter. I currently use a Mac with the most recent version (10.15.4) and I've been having trouble downloading Spleeter. Because I'm a noob when it comes to any sort of coding, I don't really know what I'm doing, and it is hard for me to find a good video on how to properly install and use Spleeter.
During the installation process, I run into a repeating issue. Command prompt says "Solving Environment," then soon after, "failed with initial frozen solve, Retrying with flexible solve."
Is this a problem with the OS I'm working on? I also didn't install FFmpeg. Is this needed to run Spleeter?
Any help would be much appreciated, especially since it seems not many use Spleeter on Mac OS.
Thanks!
Commenting to say that I'm having the same issue. I'm also very new and don't really understand if I'm doing something wrong, but I am getting the same prompt when trying to download with conda.
Though this doesn鈥檛 help with any of the coding issues I, or others, may have run into, I did find a website that uses Spleeter and it鈥檚 really simple. I recently used it and it seems to work great. ezstems.com
This isn鈥檛 any promotion, the website is free to use, just like downloadable Spleeter is, but since I found it too difficult to do it on my computer, using this is good enough for me.
This may be the same issue as #431. Potential solution offered here: https://github.com/deezer/spleeter/issues/431#issuecomment-653918952.
