I could "fix" it in my case by switching the order of registered bundles in my kernel

from

new Sonata\DoctrineORMAdminBundle\SonataDoctrineORMAdminBundle(),
new Sonata\AdminBundle\SonataAdminBundle(),

to

new Sonata\AdminBundle\SonataAdminBundle(),
new Sonata\DoctrineORMAdminBundle\SonataDoctrineORMAdminBundle(),

but the order should not matter really. So we need to find a proper fix
