Slick: Resizing and decimal slidesToShow error

Created on 7 Jan 2019  路  3Comments  路  Source: kenwheeler/slick

Using decimals for slidesToShow multiple times seems to be able to cause an issue.

http://jsfiddle.net/Kenright13/rduLqngt/4/

====================================================================

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. View the slides in "desktop" view.
  2. Resize the container to display in the first responsive breakpoint.
  3. Scroll over to the last slide.
  4. Resize the container back to the desktop view.
  5. I am seeing jquery errors in the console: Cannot read property 'nodeType' of undefined

What is the expected behaviour?

The carousel no longer works after reproducing these steps.

More Details

I am currently using chrome exclusively to test this.

In my testing I've found that setting the desktop view to a whole number for slidesToShow fixes this error.

the websites states that the argument for slidesToShow is int and not float. i dont know why it still works with decimals but you should not use them anyway if not documented.

in this case this would be more like a feature request
