Tested on several devices, with and without Google Services, with versions 4.51.6 and 4.52.4, always the same result.

I've found out that this problem appears only when I connected to mobile network. When I use Wi-Fi everything works fine. I contacted my provider, wait for response.

My mobile network operator responded, no issues from their side. I'm reopening the issue, because I don't know what the reason for it and it need to be checked.

Provide the additional info
Location: Yakutsk, Russia
Mobile operator: YOTA.

I get this too, on 4.53.7, calling android to android.
Caller hears ringing tone, but nothing happens on recipient's phone until a Missed Call notification pops up. It's pretty frequent, but intermittent. Sometimes the 2nd try works.

same, time by time

same issue, unable to establish the call via mobile network, only via wifi.
I use Pixel 4.

The same issue here - March, 2020
Samsung Galaxy S9, Signal v. 4.56.4

@vonfatt fresh logs would be welcome. Sometimes same symptoms are caused by multiple issues.

@alan-signal - here's the log: https://debuglogs.org/223fb8c9b1a3fe76fea6cee2b2b8ce5a2a206d6bce1612e2ba58b4293df95b31

There are two calls:

  1. mobile data, no incoming call info, notification about missed call
  2. WiFi on, incoming call info ok, disconnected by the caller, notification about missed call

Hope that helps,
Cheers,

I've not had this problem for a while now, and I've been using signal more. Mostly on wifi, not sure if that makes a difference.

A similar issue was mentioned in #7733

The solution:

Yessss ! Issue solved.
Her clock was set to manual and was 10 minutes late.
I just set it to automatic and everything started to work immediately in both directions now.
Wouhouuu, after 4 months of research and getting mad about "such a stupid bug", I understand how it was just a "feature". :)
Why her clock was set to manual, I'll never know (it's a second hand phone, so she didn't do it) and even why Google allows phones to be set in manual (at least for the general public) when many apps may start to bug if not synchronized is beyond me.

This is most likely a duplicate of either https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Android/issues/7733 or https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Android/issues/9633. Could you please close this one in favour of them?

hello, i have the same problem https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Android/issues/10281 and our 2 phones that call each other have the very same time setting (although i think using this to make it work is a bit crazy), so that does not work.

Yeah, let's consolidate this into #7733. Thanks!
